Shipping:
Throughout all of 2008, and until further notice, U.S. shipping and handling charges are free!
As our product offerings increase throughout the year, we will begin to offer products from
"drop ship" manufacturers. In the case of "drop ship" products and oversized items, we will clearly note the S/H charge in the item description. All of our personalized Polka Dot Panda products will include free shipping indefinitely! Most of our items will be mailed out via USPS first class or priority mail with tracking and delivery confirmation. Please contact us directly for rush shipping rates.
We welcome international orders! Before placing an order from outside of the continental U.S., please contact us directly at polkadotpandaz@aol.com for the international shipping rate to your address. We will be happy to give you an estimate before completing your purchase.
Delivery Time:
Delivery times vary from product to product. Many of our products are individually created and painted at the time your order is placed and considered made-to-order, please allow 1-2 weeks for completion and 3-7 days for shipping. In most cases, you will be notified by email or phone when your order has shipped. For order status, please feel free to contact us at polkadotpandaz@aol.com and we will quickly respond with your order status and/or tracking information.
Polka Dot Panda will make every effort to expedite your order. If you would like your order rushed, please contact us directly at polkadotpandaz@aol.com to confirm your timeline request and/or receive a rushed shipping charge quote.
Orders:
Prices are calculated in U.S. dollars.
After an order is placed, an order confirmation will be sent via e-mail. In case we need clarification on your custom order specifics, please include a contact phone number and/or e-mail address. A paypal account is required for all store shopping cart services. (For other payment options, please contact us at polkadotpandaz@aol.com, and we will place your order by phone). Your paypal account will be charged at the time of checkout for all items in your shopping cart. If you receive notice that an item(s) is backordered, you can choose to cancel the order and your paypal account will be refunded for any backordered items that you do not wish to wait for. Similarly, for custom orders, some fabrics or ribbons/trims are occasionally sold out or discontinued. If your fabric or trim of choice is unavailable, you will be notified within 24 hours. We will then provide you with pictures of similar ribbon/trim choices.
PLEASE NOTE: Since the merchandise you order may be shipped from several locations, items may arrive separately. As a result, they may arrive to you at different times and in separate Packages.
Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges:
Polka Dot Panda's goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality service and merchandise. Because many of our products are custom designed at the time an order is placed, we ask that you please make your selection very carefully as these custom items are not returnable.
Non-furniture & Non-custom designed purchases:
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please notify Polka Dot Panda within 7 business days of receiving your order. All returns must have prior authorization. You may reach us by email at polkadotpandaz@aol.com. All returns must be unused and returned in the original packaging for full credit. If you fail to notify Polka Dot Panda of your desire to return or replace your purchase within the 7 business day window, or if Polka Dot Panda suspects an item that you have returned has been used, your merchandise will be shipped back to you at your expense. Upon receipt of your approved return, Polka Dot Panda will either issue a refund for the purchase price of your item(s) to your paypal account or method of payment used for your purchase or ship the item you have selected in exchange. There are no returns, exchanges or credit after 30 days from receiving your order. Shipping costs cannot be refunded by Polka Dot Panda. All shipping charges are the customer's responsibility. If you received free shipping with your purchase, the cost of the initial shipping and handling will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will apply to replacement items. Insurance and tracking are recommended as we are not responsible for packages lost in transit to our return address.
Polka Dot Panda reserves the right to cancel orders or refuse service to anyone at any time. We reserve the right to cancel orders for items that have been advertised at the wrong price, discounted rate, have incurred an unusually long back order time or have been discontinued. We also reserve the right to cancel any order which was posted to the site with errors of color, style or price. If we cancel your order after we have charged your account, we will refund your card the amount charged.
Custom Designed Orders:
All custom-designed or personalized apparel, accessories or other custom, personalized products require payment in full upon order. Because our designers create these items to your specifications, Polka Dot Panda cannot accept returns or cancellations on these products and all sales will be final.
Returns for Drop Ship Items:
All drop ship items must be returned to the manufacturer at the buyer's expense and will be subject to a 10% re-stocking fee.
Shipment Refusal:
Customers who refuse to accept delivery of any order will be held responsible for all postage and handling fee's associated with the delivery.
Returns & Exchanges on items that are Lost, Delayed or Damaged:
Polka Dot Panda is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged items that are being returned. Please send all returns with insurance and delivery confirmation. Note: All packages sent via UPS or FedEx are traceable and automatically insured for $100. Items sent via US postal Service are not insured unless you specifically request those services. For a shipping insurance quote, you can email us at polkadotpandaz@aol.com.
Warranty Information:
Polka Dot Panda upholds the warranties offered by the artisans and manufacturers who craft our products. Manufacturer's warranties vary, so we encourage you to ask a Polka Dot Panda consultant for specific warranty information on products of interest.
Price Matching:
If you happen to find the same item somewhere else, send us an email with a link to the site. Please remember that if another store has a lower listed price that they usually are not including the shipping in that price. Once you add their shipping prices you will often find that our item is the same price or sometimes even less expensive, depending on their shipping prices. Therefore, we will match any regular retail price with their shipping cost included. This best price guarantee does not apply to auction sites, ebay sites, sales, clearance items, or other promotional offers. **Please note: Price adjustments are limited to one price match per item within a 30 day period.
If you find a lower legitimate price at another store, and would like to purchase the product from us instead, just e-mail us, and we will try to match or beat it as long as it is not below our cost and the product is still available from the manufacturer.
The following restrictions apply:

The item must be the identical product, including model, year, color, fabric, packaging, manufacturer, etc.

The item must be currently available at the other online website (backordered & discontinued items do not count).

The site must be an authorized retailer of the product.

Shipping charges (if applicable) will be included when calculating the price difference.

Retailer must have pricing in US dollars and be located within the USA.

Offer not valid on clearance, red tag, discontinued, closeouts, liquidations or special ord
er items.

Loyal Customer Program & Mailing List:
Our business has grown since 2006 due to loyal, returning customers. We appreciate our regular customers and offer many special discounts and promotions to loyal customers. Once you shop at Polka Dot Panda, we will mail you special promotions and coupons. We also, on occasion, will send promotions via e-mail. If you receive a promotion by mail and prefer to be left off of our mailing list, kindly notify us at polkadotpandaz@aol.com and we will immediately remove your information. If you're just browsing our store or are a prior customer who would like to receive regular promotions or e-mails, please join our mailing list! We welcome photos of our products worn by your children or gift recipient. If you share your photos with us, you will be eligible for additional discounts and promotions. If you'd like to share a photo, but would prefer that it not be posted in our store or under the customer photos page, kindly let us know. Privacy Policy:
Polka Dot Panda works hard to ensure your privacy. We do not sell your personal information to other companies. Once you place an order credit card companies require that we confirm your billing address and phone number to authenticate your transaction. Your email address is needed to confirm and update you regarding your order. This site is hosted by Affordable Programmers and the shopping cart function/site is operated under OsCommerce. The automated OsCommerce shopping cart program automatically collects order information but may only use this information in the aggregate.
